摘要
从某动物园送诊的病死小企鹅肝脏分离到一株病毒 ,经血凝抑制试验 (HI)和电镜观察确定为新城疫病毒。采用SPF鸡胚和SPF鸡测定其致病指数分别为 :MDT =6 2 .1小时 ,ICPI =2 .48,IVPI =1 .6 7,属于强毒株。动物致病试验表明该毒株经滴鼻 /点眼途径可在 96小时内致死 6周龄SPF鸡 ,并出现典型的新城疫症状和病变。
A strain of virus was isolated from the liver of a dead penguin.It was determined to be a Newcastle disease virus(NDV) by HI test and negative_contrast electron micrscopy.The pathogenicity test values were as follows:Mean death time(MDT)in SPF embryo=62.1h,Intracerebral pathogenicity index(ICPI)in day_old SPF chicks=2.48 and Intravenous pathogenicity index(IVPI) in 6_week_old chickens=1.67.SPF chickens of six weeks old paralyzed in 48 h and died within 96h post infection(PI)by inoculating each with 0.1ml of 1:10 dilution in sterile saline of fresh allantoic fluid by nose/eye dropping.The 7_day_old Pekin ducklings also showed nerves signs in 48h and died within 120h PI with the same dose of virus by the intravenous injection.
