摘要
基于速率方程的离散算法,采用环形腔增益控制方案,实现了对双包层Er3+/Yb3+光纤放大器增益钳制的分析,研究了增益和噪声指数钳制随衰减器衰减系数的变化关系。结果表明,随着衰减器衰减系数的逐渐增大,EYDFA的增益钳制范围逐渐增大,但增益钳制幅度逐渐减小;随着衰减器衰减系数的增大,EYDFA的输出噪声指数逐渐增大,由此影响输出信号质量。
Based on discrete algorithm of the rate-equation, analysis of gain clamping for an Er3/yb3+ co-doped double-clad fiber amplifier (EYDFA) is present by means of ring-laser method, and the relations of clamped gain, noise figure with attenuation coefficient were investigated. The results show that the range of clamped gain increase with attenuation coefficient. This research also shows that the noise figure of the EYD- FA increases with attenuation coefficient gradually, which lead to the worse signal quality.
