建筑师克雷兹与结构师席沃扎合作的建筑作品秉持着对超然时空体验的追求,这便注定实现此目标的结构体系异于常规。通常这些被推上前台成为建筑形式要素的异规结构,会以相较常规结构更加繁冗复杂的面貌出现,但在他们的作品里,异规的结构以极其简练的、若隐若现的方式呈现。这种强烈反差的实现得益于他们对形式与力流的有机融合,而融合二者的方法之一便是图解静力学。
When architect Christian Kerez and structural engineer Joseph Schwartz try to pursuit extreme experience that juxtaposes life and scenery, the structures supporting that idea are destined to be informal. According to ~xed routines, these informal structures are supposed to be complicated in appearance, but in the works of Kerez and Schwartz, the informal structures present concise and looming qualities in form. The answer for how architectural form could maintain both in a unique and concise way is to integrate form and force organically, and one way to achieve this objective is graphic-statics operation.
