摘要
首先介绍多媒体信息检索的多类型、交互性、同步性、实时性、便捷性等特点,然后论述多媒体信息检索涉及的关键技术,最后列举目前研制成功的典型多媒体信息检索系统。
Introduces the characteristics of multimedia information retrieval such as multi-type, alterna-tiveness, synchronism, realtime and so on, then discusses the key technologies used in information retrieval such as information model and presentation, information retrieval technologies, information compression and decompression and so on , and finally enumerates the typical multimedia information retrieval systems which have developed successfully.
