摘要
谚语是语言文化的一个组成部分。德谚和汉谚虽因文化背景和环境习俗的不同而各具特色，但通过文化比较就会发现两者都运用了比喻、押韵、对比、对仗等相同和相似的修辞手法。翻译时若能充分利用这些共同点，并处理好那些文化差异，则不但有助于保存原谚神韵，也能使译谚为我们中国人所理解和欣赏，从而收到“信”与“达”的效果。
Proverb is a part of language and culture. Proverbs of German and Chinese have different char- acteristics because of the different cultural background, environment and custom, but you can find they use similar rhetorical device, such as metaphor, rhyme, contrast, and antithesis. To realize the faithfulness and expressiveness, and to keep the romantic charm of the original proverbs and make people understand and appreciate the translation, we should make full use of these common points and deal with the cultural differences.
