摘要 现代通信技术的发展以及多媒体处理芯片性能的提升,视频会议系统逐渐应用到人们的工作和日常生活当中。设计了一个基于多核架构DM8168的SIP网络视频会议服务器,能够实现多媒体数据流的编码、解码、转码以及混合等功能。硬件主要包括五个模块,分别为电源模块、时钟模块、存储模块、接口模块和多媒体处理单元。上述设计使用单颗DM8168芯片,可实现16路D1 H.264编码的同时还支持8路解码和16路网络传输。 With the development of communication technology and the improvement of multimedia processors, the demands for video conference systems are gradually raised from industry, commerce, and entertainment. In this pa- per, a SIP network video conference server was designed based on a multi-core architecture chip, named DM8168. The server is capable of encoding, decoding, transcoding, and mixing the multimedia data stream. The hardware mainly includes power module, clock module, storage module, interface module, and multimedia processing unit (DM8168). The server is able to achieve 16-channel H. 264 encoding, supporting 8-channel decoding and 16- channel network transmission, all in D1 format.
