Lunar Local Terrain Creation Based on Integration of Fractal Model and Shape Models

摘要 构建了一种分形布朗运动模型和参数化形状模型相结合的月面局部区域地形生成算法。将月面地形生成过程分解为基本地形生成和撞击地形生成两个子过程,在整体范围内基于Haar小波构建原理和分形布朗运动模型理论实现月面基本地形的生成,在局部范围内通过对石块和撞击坑等典型障碍物的形状建模实现了撞击地形的生成。仿真实验表明,算法所生成的撞击地形中撞击坑等障碍物的形状和分布特点与月面实拍图相符,同时二维基本地形的计算复杂度较中点移位法及随机分形函数法计算复杂度更小。生成的月面局部区域地形能够反映丘陵、平原和碰撞痕迹等多种月面特征,地形生成结果可以作为进一步月面任务规划技术研究的仿真数据基础。 A lunar local terrain creation algorithm was proposed based on the integration of Fractional Brownian Motion (FBM) model and parameterized shape models. According to the algorithm, creation of lunar terrain was separated into two courses, which are creation of the basic terrain and that of the impact terrain respectively. The basic terrain was created based on the principle of FBM-based Haar wavelet construction on global range, and creation of impact terrain was realized on the basis of parameterized shape model for typical roadblocks such as screes and craters within local area. Experimental results show that the given algorithm has a less computational complexity than other classical algorithms such as midpoint displacement algorithm on generating basic terrain, and simulated typical roadblocks are more accordant with features of real lunar roadblocks than results by paraboloid integration model. The simulated lunar terrain can be used in future research for lunar mission planning within the landing area.
