摘要
1949年以来，随着考古工作的开展，使对两周青铜剑的研究具备了材料基础，不少学者也对剑的渊源、发展脉络及年代进行了探讨。本文拟以考古材料为主，结合传世资料，对两周青铜剑进行综合探讨。两周时期剑的分布地域较为广大，本文涉及的地域仅限周文化及其诸侯国的范围，主要包括两周、秦晋、幽燕、齐鲁、荆楚等地，其他地区仅在必要时提及。
First this paper classified the bronze swords of the Western and Eastern Zhou Periods into types and subtypes with the basic method of archaeological typology （except for some with special forms and small quantities） and clarified their relative chronologies and then es- timated their absolute dates by which established the chronological frame of the bronze swords of the Western and Eastern Zhou Periods. Based on this, the author analyzed the ori-gins and developments of the different types of bronze backgrounds. The author pointed out that the bronze swords and discussed their relevant swords of the Western and Eastern Zhou Periods could be classified into three systems, flat-hilted swords, cylindrical hilted swords and Northern Frontier-style daggers.
