摘要
为了全面提高大学生的素质,增强学生的国际沟通能力,很多大学和专业都鼓励教师开设双语课程,目的是使学生能较为熟练地运用英语进行学科思维,用双语开展学科学习与交流。体育是一项国际性较强的文化活动,从事体育学习或工作的学生具备一定的英语交流能力是必要的,但在对体育专业学生实施双语课程教学的过程中必须注意双语教学的可行性问题,即综合考虑学生的英语基础水平、学科特点、教师能力等。本文以广州大学社会体育专业学生为研究对象对双语教学实施效果和存在问题进行了分析。
The bilingual education is encouraged in many higher education institutions in order to improve the students＇ ability in international communication.Sport is an international culture event and it is essential to be able to communicate in English language.However,the feasibility of implementing bilingual education in PE major needs to be discussed.The factors include the students＇English level,the subject characteristics and teachers＇capability.This paper takes students of social sports major in Guangzhou University as the objects of study to analyze the effects and problems in bilingual education in Physical Education major.
