摘要
基于语言、文化和思维关系理论,通过横向比较英汉语言的使用异同,侧重探讨英汉语言在使用中所体现的东西方不同民族间的人际关系模式。研究发现:汉语的使用特点体现的是注重伦理道德和人际关系的汉民族人情文化,英语的使用特点体现的是依托于法理公约和法制关系的西方民族契约文化。
Based on theory of relationship between language, culture and thinking, this paper compares the similarities and differences of English and Chinese languages, focusing on the differences of the interpersonal relationship mode reflected in various aspects of language uses. The finding is that： the characteristics of Chinese language embodies traditional Chinese human culture which values the ethics and interpersonal relations, while the characteristics of English language embodies western contract culture which values legal convention and the legal relations.
