The paper summarizes the upgrade transformation of differential protection of busbar due to exten- sion of duplicate-busbar to duplicate-busbar single-segmentation in extension project of the newly-added main transformer 3# in 220 kV substation. It lays emphasis on correspondence of the primary and secondary physi- cal wiring position and indicates precautions in transformation of differential protection of busbar, which can provide reference for relevant projects.
