摘要
本文描述了采自贵州省的介形类大型介虫属一新种——平缘大型介虫Hungarocypris levigatus sp.nov.。此新种壳体及附肢形态与产于广州锯缘大型介虫H.serratus Chen,1983十分相似,但有重要差别。
Hungarocyprls levigatus sp. nov. (figs. 1-4)Female length 3.51-3.95mm, height 2.07-2.21mm, width 1.37-1.49mm.Body spindle-shapel in dorsal -view, with anterior and posterior ends pointed. Greatest width in the mid-point. Left valve overlapping the right anteriorly and vice versa posteriorly. Triangular in lateral view, with greatest height in 1/3 of the anterior. Oorsal margin arched, anterior rotund, posterior margin narrowly rounded and ventral margin almost straight. Both anterior and posterior margins of the valves without serration.Natatory setae of the first antenna well developed. Those of the 2nd one reaching tips of the terminal claws; sensory club of the proximo-posterior margin of the 1st endopodite three-segmented, the terminal segment being longer than combined length of the other two segments. Two smooth spines in maxilla masticatory process. First leg slender long, with terminal claw longer than the combined length of the 2nd and 3rd endopidite segments. Furcal rami symmetrical; terminal claw slightly longer than the subterminal one; terminal seta short, less than half of the length of terminal claw, the proximal posterior seta more than half of the length of the distal posterior seta, posterior margin of the ramus with series of fine bristles.Male length 3.36-3.43mm, height 1.99-2.00mm, width 1.32-1.34mm.Valve morphology similar to that of the female.Morphologically this new species closely resembes H. serratus Chen, 1983, but differs from the latter chiefly in the following characters: posterior margin of the right valve smooth, without serration; anterior end of the distal segment of right prehensile pulp of the male B-shaped.Holotype ♀, allotype ♂, paratypes 5♀♀1♂, Yinjiang (28°02'N, 108°24'E), Guizhou Province, China.
