摘要
以醋酸乙烯酯(VAC)为单体、丙烯酸羟乙酯(HEA)为交联剂、丙烯酸乙酯(EA)和雨烯酸丁酯(BA)为改性单体、十二烷基硫酸钠和辛烷基酚聚氧乙烯醚为复合乳化剂、聚乙烯醇(PVA)为保护胶体,制备了改性聚醋酸乙烯酯(PVAC)乳液。利用FTIR,TEM,DSC等方法研究了改性PVAc乳液的结构和性能,考察了复合乳化剂含量和PVA含量对PVACSL液粒径的影响及聚合反应动力学等:实验结果表明,改性PVAc乳液的黏度、耐水性、拉伸强度及稳定性均有大幅提高;当复合乳化剂含量为3%~5%(w)时,改性PVAc乳液粒径为74.0~56.5nm;改性PVAC的聚合反应主要以胶束成核为主;由于BA,HEA,EA等软单体的存在,改性PVAC中富含VAC的链段的玻璃化转变温度降至0.634℃。
Modified polyvinyl acetate(PVAC) emulsion was prepared with vinyl acetate(VAC) as monomer, hydroxyethyl acrylate(HEA) as crosslinking agent, ethyl acrylate(EA) and butyl acrylate (BA) as modifying monomers, sodium dodecyl sulfate and polyoxyethylene octylphenol ether as composite emulsifier, and polyvinyl alcohol(PVA) as protective colloid. The structure and performance of the modified PVAC emulsion were characterized by means of FTIR, TEM and DSC. The effects of composite emulsifier content and PVA content on the particle size of the emulsion, and the reaction kenitics were also investigated. The results indicated that the viscosity, water resistance and tensile strength of the modified PVAC emulsion were all greatly increased. When the content of the composite emulsifier was 3%-5%(w), the particle sizes of the modified PVAC emulsion was in the range of 74.0-56.5 nm. The polymerization reaction was a micellar nucleation process mainly. Because of the existence of BA, HEA, EA and other soft monomers, the glass transition temperature of the modified PVAC emulsion was decreased to 0.634 ℃.
