摘要
以往对英文广告的研究多集中在翻译、语用等方面,本文在功能语言学的框架内从语法隐喻理论的角度来分析广告中的名词化现象。名词化使过程、特征、抽象概念等具备实体特征。结果表明,名词化赋予广告语言以简洁、正式、庄重的特征,这些特征有助于广告目的的实现。名词化使广告语言具备了隐喻意义,具有双重的语义特征。
Previous studies of English advertisenemts focus mainly on the perspectives of translation and pragmatic usage.Within the framework of Functional Grammar,this paper tries to analyze nominalization from the perspective of grammatical metaphor.Nominalization materializes the processes,characteristics and abstract concepts.The research result shows that nominalization endows advertisenemts language with the characteristics of conciseness,formality and seriousness,which are helpful to realize the purpose of advertisenemts.Nominalization endows advertisenemts language with the meaning of metaphor and dual semantic features.
