摘要
旅游因引发精神状态的变换而具备了对个体生命的标志意义。"离家"与"在家"、"神圣-世俗"交替规律性的社会指示性使旅游被视为世俗仪式,从而成为旅游人类学研究的重要领域。文章从"通过仪式"之时间性与当代社会之空间性入手,借助旅游系统的空间研究与旅游仪式的时间分析,尝试性地推演旅游时间与空间模型,发现旅游兼具时间性与空间性,是现代移动社会的一种时空表达与仪式表现,也是"通过仪式"在现代移动社会的时间与空间呈现;旅游中,空间位移相对时间运动更为突出,空间是第一性的,时间是第二性的,其空间性超越了传统(非宗教)"通过仪式"的空间领域,可作为"通过仪式"理论在移动时代的一种补充。
Tourism is considered as a secular ritual and it is of great importance in the anthropological study due to its symbolization of individual life, and its indication of the sacred- profane shift of away-home and at-home status. Based on the spatial study of tourism system and the temporal analysis of tourism ritual, the paper tries to develop a space-time model of tourism, and finds that tourism is the complex of space and time and it is also a secular ritual in modern society. Besides, it presents the ＂rites of passage＂ of space-time in modern mobile world. During the tour, the movement of space is more distinctive than time, therefore, space comes first while time the second. The spatial characteristic of tourism is far beyond the micro-spatial territory of non-religion ＂rites of passage＂, thus tourism can be the complementary rites of passage in mobile times.
