异构无线网络联合呼叫接纳控制优化算法

Fairness-aware joint call admission control in heterogeneous wireless networks

摘要 异构无线网络中无线资源在异构终端之间的分配存在不公平性,使得接入能力较弱的终端(如单模终端)的呼叫阻塞概率要高于接入能力较强的终端(如多模终端).为了降低不公平性对网络性能的影响,提出一种考虑公平性的联合呼叫接纳控制算法.根据移动终端的模态、网络负载以及接入影响指数来进行呼叫接入决策,降低了低模终端的呼叫阻塞/掉线概率,改善了资源在异构终端之间分配的公平性. In heterogeneous wireless networks,mobile terminals of different capabilities (heterogeneous terminals) will be used by subscribers to access network services.There is a problem of the unfairness in allocation of radio resources among heterogeneous mobile terminals in heterogeneous wireless networks.Low-capability mobile terminals (such as single-mode terminals) suffer high call blocking probability,whereas high-capability mobile terminals (such as quad-mode terminals) experience very low call blocking probability.This paper proposes a fairness-aware joint call admission control (JCAC) algorithm to reduce the unfairness.The proposed JCAC algorithm makes call admission decisions based on the mobile terminal modality (capability),network load,and radio access technology (RAT) influence index.Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm reduces the call blocking/dropping probability of low-capability mobile terminals,and improves fairness in allocation of radio resources among heterogeneous terminals.
