摘要 车牌字符识别是智能交通系统的核心内容。对车牌字符识别的两种重要方法,即模板匹配法和神经网络法进行研究,并在Matlab平台上实现两种算法,得到了真实有效的仿真结果。最后比较两种方法的优缺点,得出一些有意义的结论。 Character recognition in license plate is a core component of the intelligent transportation system. I his paper smalea on the two character recognition methods, i.e., template matching method (TMM) and neural network method (NNM), and then per-formed them in Matlab platform. The simulation results showed the efficiency of TMM and NNM. Finally, some constructive con-clusions are presented by comparing the advantages and disadvantages of TMM and NNM.
