摘要
《太平广记》卷二百五十二中"蓝搀"与《五灯会元》卷十九中"蓝镵",实为一词,今学人多解作形貌恶丑。此解不为确诂,尚需辨补。稽考文献可知,此词在文中当是指鼻子长而下垂的样子,应训作"长垂貌"。
Lanchan（蓝搀 ） used in Taiping Guangji（ 太平广记） and Lanchan（ 蓝搀 ） used in Wudeng Huiyuan（五灯会元）, are actually the same word. Nowadays, scholars have interpreted them as ＂ugly＂. This essay holds that this interpretation isn＇t quite exact and it need some supplementaries. And this essay insists that the word in above-mentioned two documents means one＇s nose is long and sagging.
