摘要
《毛公鼎》"弗作先王■"之"■",是古文字学界至今未能解决的难题。根据字形、字词关系、辞例(包括传世文献和出土文献)等,该字依孙诒让隶作"页(■)"最为接近原形,依王国维读为"羞",最为合理。
The oracle＂＂ comes from＂ Don＇t become the ancient king＇s ＂ in Mao Gong Tripod（毛公鼎）, which remains to be an unsolved problem in area of paleography since its appearence. According to character pattern, relationships between Chinese characters and words, inscriptions（including handed-down literature and the unearthed literature）, this oracle word has the most similar structure with clerical script ＂页（）＂ according to Sun Yi-rang（孙诒让）. However, for Wang Guo-wei（王国维）, it is most resonable to share the same pronunciation with 羞.（xiu）.
