摘要
从认识论的角度和美学的角度探讨当代分析美学对艺术的认知价值的讨论,并指出分析美学在此问题上的贡献和局限性。从认识论的角度来看,认知主义立场认为艺术以各种不同的方式给予受众知识,而强势的反认知主义者则认为艺术不具有任何认知价值;从美学的角度来看,认知主义立场认为艺术的认知价值在某种条件下与其审美价值密切相关,而温和的反认知主义者虽然承认艺术具有认知价值,但并非艺术的本质价值,也就是说与其审美价值毫不相关。
This thesis organizes two issues on the arguments of cognitive values of the art from the point view of Analytic aesthetics and points out the contributions and the limitations of the Analytic Aesthetics. On the issue of epistemology, the cognitivism holds that art gives people knowledge in different ways while the strong anti-cognitivism thinks that art has no cognitive values at all. On the issue of aesthetics, the former claims that certain cognitive values of the artworks are under certain conditions with an aes- thetic merit in them. On the contrary, the moderate anti-cognitivism insists that although the artworks have cognitive values, these values are not the essential and have nothing to do with their aesthetic val- ues.
