摘要
本文提出了一种在无外场作用情形下薄膜光波导内实现模式转换的方法,理论分析了液相外延在GGG基底上〈111〉膜面取向的YIG薄膜由于晶格常数失配而引起的介电张量变化、模式传播常数修正及耦合系数大小,分析结果表明在常规失配条件下,既可保证薄膜的光学质量,又可达到模式转换的要求。
This paper proposes a method of mode conversion in thin film waveguides without any external field. The changes of dielectric tensor, mode propagation constant and mode coupling coefficient arising from lattice mismatching of YIG thin film grown on a 〈111〉 GGG substrate are theoretically analyzed. The results show that in normal mismatching of the YIG thin film with high quality of optical property the mode conversion can be obtained.
