摘要
分析非结构化网络数据库对转变传统图书情报服务模式的作用;介绍非结构化网络数据库的典型产品——iBASE数据库的特点;认为iBASE数据库可以满足网络环境下图书情报服务的新要求。
With the development of the new Internet technology and the new need of library and information service, the disadvantage of the traditional relation database has been evident. Contrast with traditional relation databases, non - structure databases can resolve many problems, and provide many new library and information service modes using its special function on Internet. This paper analyzes the characters of non -
structure databases and puts forward iBASE non - structure database management system——a typical product
of the non - structure database.
