摘要
偏置曲线 /曲面在模具设计及其它工业设计中有着广泛的应用。文中把自由曲线 (曲面 )的法矢量视作有向曲线 (曲面 ) ,提出了一种数值求解偏置曲线 /曲面的新方法———单位法曲线 /曲面算法。实践证明 ,在保证同样精度的情况下 。
The designing of offset curves and surfaces is an essential factor in many industrial applications such as the die & mould CAD/CAM. This paper presents a new method-unit normal curve/surface method to compute offsetting curves or surfaces. Compared with other methods, the new method has the proper accuracy and less computer time.
