To simulate ground motions by using stochastic finite-fault method

摘要 随机法模拟地震动是在强地震断层破裂附近预测地震动的很重要工具之一.利用作者前期地震矩张量反演研究所获得的震源参数,基于动力学拐角频率的随机有限断层模型,采用Mo-tazedian(2009)提出的EXSIM算法,模拟了2008年10月6日西藏当雄地震,并与实际记录进行对比分析.结果表明,理论计算结果与实际记录符合得比较好.文章认为模拟方法和预测结果在本地区重大工程选址及地震危害性评价中具有参考价值. Stochastie finite-fault method is an important tool for predicting ground mo- tions near the rupture of large earthquakes. Based on dynamic corner frequency, this pa- per simulated the ground motions at LSA station for Damxung earthquake, Tibet on 6 October 2008 by using the focal shock parameters gained from my previous moment ten- sor inversion study and the stochastic finite-fault technique of the algorithm EXSIM pro posed by Motazedian(2009). Then the simulated results were compared with the ob served records. The results show that the simulated results accord well with the ob- served aeceleration response spectra. Therefore, it is concluded that the stochastic fi nite-fauh method and the simulated results are of reference value for the location of significnat projects and the evaluation of the damages resulted from earthquake.
