压铸铝合金表面等离子镀非晶薄膜的耐蚀性

Corrosion Resistance of the Amorphous Films Prepared by Ion Beam Sputtering on the Die-casting Aluminum Alloy Surface

摘要 利用高真空等离子溅射方法,在压铸铝合金表面镀Ag-Cu-RE(Ce)非晶薄膜,降低了合金表面粗糙度。扫描电镜及原子力显微镜观测发现,薄膜表面平整,覆盖均匀,有利于防止铝合金发生点腐蚀。电化学测量表明,薄膜的腐蚀电位明显高于铝合金基体。腐蚀试验中,等离子镀层未发生脱落现象,起到了很好的保护作用,明显提高了铝合金的耐腐蚀能力。 The Ag-Cu-RE(Ce) amorphous films were prepared on surface of die casting aluminum alloy by high vacuum ion beam sputtering method to improve its surface roughness. SEM (scanning electron mi- croscope) and AFM (atomic force microscope) were employed to observe the surface morphology of the films. The results reveal that the film surface exhibits uniform and smooth, which can prevent the pit- ting corrosion from aluminum alloy. Electrochemical measurements show that the corrosion potential of the films is significantly higher than that of the aluminum substrate. In the corrosion tests, the amor- phous films can desirably protect the aluminum substrate as a result of absence of exfoliation, significantly improving the corrosion resistance of aluminum alloy.
