摘要
《汉书》文赡而事详,在史学史上有很高的地位。班固在撰述中多用古字古义,给读者完整理解其含义造成不便。从书成不久开始,直到晚清时期,学者对《汉书》注释活动从未终止,在魏晋隋唐和清朝时期两度出现注释高潮。东汉末年以后至民国时期的"汉书学",从很大程度上讲就是《汉书》注释之学。
Hanshu’s artful description and detailed contents secured its venerable position in Chinese historiography.Its author,Ban Gu,usually used outdated Chinese characters when he compiled the work,which frequently bewildered its readers.Scholars never ceased its annotations since the work had been completed,which resulted in two climaxes in the dynasties of Wei Jin,Sui Tang and Ming Qing.In fact,the Study of Hanshu means the study of Hanshu’s annotations.
