摘要
中国加入WTO在即。入世利弊兼具。无论是从近期来看还是从长远来看 ,入世对中国经济的发展都是利大于弊。中国入世标志着中国开放型经济进入一个新的发展阶段 ,只要作好充分的准备 ,采取切实有效的对策 ,入世必将有利于中国社会生产力的发展 ,有利于综合国力的提高 。
China will soon become a member of WTO and WTO membership is a mixed blessing. Yet both from a short term and from a long term point of view, WTO membership is of greater advantage than disadvantage for China's economic development. WTO membership marks a new stage in the development of China's economic opening to the outside. As long as China is well prepared and takes effective measures to deal with various situations, WTO membership will contribute to the development of China's social productive forces.
