摘要
采用溶胶-凝胶法制备了Yb3+掺杂浓度为5.0at%的Yb:YAG超细粉体。利用真空热压和热等静压相结合工艺制备了尺寸为10 mm×2 mm的Yb:YAG透明陶瓷。采用X射线衍射(X-ray diffraction,XRD)仪、扫描电子显微镜(Scanning electron microscope,SEM)和紫外/可见/近红外分光光度计对粉料的物相、透明陶瓷的显微结构和透过率进行了表征。XRD结果表明,前驱体经1000℃锻烧2 h后转变为纯YAG相,根据Scherrer公式计算出晶粒尺寸为38nm。断口SEM结果表明,陶瓷的平均晶粒尺寸为10μm。样品1100 nm的透过率为81%,主吸收峰位于938 nm。
Yb:YAG superfine powder doped with 5.0at% Yb3 +was synthesized by sol-gel method.Using this powder,Yb:YAG transparent ceramic with size of 10 mm × 2 mm was successfully fabricated by vacuum hot pressing and hot isostatic pressing technique.Phase composition of the synthesized powder,microstructure and optical transmittance of this Yb:YAG transparent ceramic were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscope(SEM) and UV/VIS/NIR spectrometer.XRD result shows that precursor transforms to pure YAG phase by calcining at 1000 ℃ for 2 h.Using Scherrer equation,the crystal size is calculated to be 38 nm.Fracture SEM result shows that average grain size of the transparent ceramic is about 10 μm.Optical transmittance of the Yb :YAG transparent ceramic sample with thickness of 2 mm reaches 81% at the wavelength of 1100 nm,and the main absorption peak is centered at 938 nm.
