健康国人嗅球体积MRI测值及其与年龄和嗅觉功能的相关性 被引量:2

Correlation between MRI measured volume of olfactory bulb with aging and olfactory functions in healthy Chinese adults

摘要 目的探讨MRI测量嗅球(OB)体积的可行性,观察健康国人OB体积随年龄增长的演变规律和与嗅觉功能的相关性。方法随机选择103名右利手健康志愿者,采用1.5T临床型MR系统行全脑扫描,在冠状位以手绘法测量OB体积。采用Sniffin'Sticks方法检测嗅觉功能,包括嗅觉阈值、嗅觉辨别和嗅觉识别,计算嗅觉总评分(TDI)。结果男性左、右侧OB体积平均值分别为(88.66±29.36)cm3和(92.54±30.63)cm3,女性左、右侧OB体积平均为(74.84±19.34)cm3和(72.63±20.71)cm3;男性和女性两侧OB体积差异均有统计学意义(P均<0.05)。左、右侧OB体积与年龄均呈负相关(左侧:r=-0.24,P=0.02;右侧:r=-0.28,P=0.01)。左、右侧OB体积分别与同侧TDI评分呈正相关(左侧:r=0.21,P=0.03;右侧:r=0.22,P=0.02);右侧THR和ID评分与同侧OB体积也具有相关性(THR:r=0.19,P=0.04;ID:r=0.19,P=0.04)。结论采用1.5T临床型MR仪可清晰显示和准确测量OB体积;国人OB体积随年龄增大而逐渐减小,并与相应嗅觉功能具有相关性。 Objective To explore the feasibility of MRI measurement of volumetric olfactory bulb (OB) in healthy Chinese adults,and to observe the relationship of OB with age and olfactory function.Methods Totally 103dextromanual healthy subjects were recruited.All subjects received 1.5T MR scanning,and manual volumetric measurement of OB was performed using the consecutive coronal slices.Sniffin'Sticks was used to assess the olfactory function,including odor threshold (TRH), odor discrimination (DIS) and odor identification (ID), and then olfactory scores (TDI) were calculate. Results The OB volume of male was (88.66±29.36) cm 3 on the left,and (92.54±30.63) cm 3 on the right,of women was (74.84±19.34) cm 3 on the left,and (72.63±20.71) cm 3 on the right (all P0.05) .There were negative correlations between age and OB volumes of men and women on both sides (left : r=-0.24,P=0.02 ; right : r=-0.28,P=0.01) . Correlations were also found between OB volume and olfactory function (TDI) on both sides (left : r=0.21,P=0.03 ; right : r=0.22,P=0.02), as well as among THR,ID and the OB volume on the right side (THR : r=0.19,P=0.04 ; ID : r=0.19,P=0.04) .Conclusion OB volume can be clearly measured by 1.5T MR system.OB volume decreases with increase of the age,and correlation exists between olfactory function and OB volume.
