Objective To observe the effect of co-therapy by using recombinant human epidermal growth factor(HEGF) gelatin and physical agents on the deep-II degree Pressure sore.(Pressure sore) compression Methods: Firstly, debridement was carried out in local compression sore.Following the treatment by using magnetic induction electrotherapy instrument and aerosol bio electrotherapeutic instrument, the wound surface was irradiated with ultraviolet therapeutic instrument for 10 seconds, then applying the recombinant human epidermal growth factor(HEGF) gelatin.Afterwards, the wound was wrapped up under sterile condition. These therapeutic methods were combined to treat the deep-II degree compression sore in the Sacrococcygeal Region. At the same time, the body should be turned over to avoid local sore compression. Results After the novel method was used, the compression sore of the patient significantly recovered with shortened cycle of treatment in comparison with the method by using styptic plaster and decompressive pad. Conclusion No obvious effect was achieved with styptic plaster and decompressive pad applied on the same wound surface for 21th days in the effusion, with hemorrhage occurred in the wound surface and the wound surface area bled and enlarged. In our clinical study,we adopted the novel method mentioned above.By using this novel method according to patient’s actual situation, the deep-II degree compression sore in Sacrococcygeal Region achieved incrustation after a five-day therapy, and on the 16th day of this therapy, the compression sore completely recovered.
