摘要
江苏高水平大学建设是国家"十二五"教育规划纲要目标实现的一部分。国际和国内经验已经证明,特色和创新是国内外高水平大学的成功之道。无论是英国、美国还是国内的"985高校"都遵循着特色和创新的办学理念并加以实践。江苏省建设高水平大学同样需要从特色和创新两方面着手,坚持各校特色发展理念,在学科特色的基础上,形成各自高校人才培养特色、科研特色和社会服务特色。同时,这些大学需要在教学和科研等方面进行必要的创新,形成一个利于教师发展和学生成长的健康有机体,并最终实现建设高水平大学的目标。
The twelfth five-year national plan of education states the goal of upgrading a few Chinese leading universities into world-class ones. As a university-intensive provinee, Jiangsu is bound to play a part. An analysis of the success of world-class universities home and abroad has proven that univer- sities should have their own characteristics and be innovative constantly. The universities of Jiangsu Province aiming to enter the first-class team are supposed to follow suit. Universities need to build on their strengths, form their characteristics and take innovative actions to serve their ultimate goal.
