摘要
通过研究,发现该铝土矿成分复杂,Al_2O_3含量不高且变化较大,Fe_2O_3含量高且变化大,矿石的结构构造也很特殊,其中碎屑呈棱角状、具塑性变形现象。文中根据Al_2O_3/TiO_2、Ga/Al_2O_3、微量元素和碎屑重矿物等认为铝土矿原始物质主要来自基底岩石红土风化残余,其沉积环境为滨海淡化泻湖。作者认为铝土矿中上部位是较典型的风暴沉积产物,风暴作用在铝土矿形成过程中影响较大。
In this study the author has discovered the complexity of composition in bauxite. The Al_2 O_3 con-tent is not very high, but widely changes. Fe_2 O_3 is high and greatly varies. The bauxite is mainly de-rived from weathered residuum of basal clay sandstone, deposited in lagoon envirnment. The fabric ofbauxite ore is also very special. Fragments are often angular with plastic deformation. There are sev-eral kinds of pisolite and oolite in bauxite. Some of them are larger with many contraction fissures, si-miliar to those in Australia lateritic bauxite. Some are in medium size with many layers. Others aresmall, rich in Fe_2O_3. there is an irregular erosional surface between clastic and massive bauxites. Thethickness of clastic bauxite is very changeable. Furthermore, graded structure is found in clastic baux-ite. It is suggested that the bauxite is typical sediment of storm.
