On the Sonic Logging Data Compression Based on LZW Algorithm

摘要 随着声波测井数据量急剧增加,在电缆传输带宽有限条件下难以实时传输至地面接收仪器。为解决实时数据传输问题,提出一种用于实时数据压缩的无损压缩方法。该方法基于无损压缩LZW算法,引入异或Hash函数提高字典查询效率。测试结果表明,字典查询平均查找次数小于2;压缩率达到50.18%,该算法易于硬件实现。 Due to the limitation of the transportation bandwidth and the rapid increase of acoustic logging data, it's very difficult to transport the logging data to the ground in real time. In order to fulfill the real-time data transportation, a loss-less real-time data compression method based on LZW is presented in this paper. And then we proposed the Hash function to improve the efficiency of the dictionary searching. The results show that the compression ratio is 50. 18%, the dictionary average searching length is below hardware system. 2, and it's easy to use this algorithm for
