晚近资料表明,地球物质中金丰度不像以前估计的那么高.普通岩石正常情况下含金在1ppb左右,而且副矿物比主要组份对含金量的影响要明显.该文的结论是:上陆壳金丰度可能在1～1.5ppb.
Latest Information indicate that the abundance of gold in terrestrial materials is not as high as previously estimated. Generally, the gold content of common rocks is about 1 ppb and accessary minerals have a greater influence with the gold abundance than major components. It is estimated that the gold abundance in the upper continental crust is within a range from 1 to 1.5 ppb.
