摘要
本文是对李官桥,潭头和垣曲3个盆地下第三系对比研究的一个初步总结,并提出了中国早第三纪生物古地理区系划分的新概念。根据3个盆地地质资料的综合分析和哺乳动物群的性质,以及与国内外相应动物群的对比研究,对其早第三纪生物地层划分和时代提出了新的看法。基于生物地层发育顺序,哺乳动物化石组合特征以及控盆断裂发育方向上的差异,本文划分出了我国早第三纪6个生物古地理区系:Ⅰ.天山-阴山-图门区;Ⅱ.塔里木-华北区;Ⅲ.昆仑-秦岭区;Ⅳ.扬子区;Ⅴ.南岭及东南沿海区;Ⅵ.青藏区。
This paper is a preliminary summary of the study of the Palaeogene biostratigraphy of the Liguanqiao, Tantou and Yuanqu basins, and it proposes a new idea about Palaeogene palaeobiogeographic provinces of China.Based on a symhetic analysis of geological data of the three basins, elaboration and study of mammalian fossils collected from scattered fossil localities and horizons in the basins and their comaprison with corresponding domestic and foreign mammalian faunas, it is considered that the Yuhuangding, Dacangfang and Hetaoyuan formations of the Liguanqiao basin are Early to early Middle Eocene, middle Middle Eocene and late Middle Eocene in age respectively, that the Gaoyugou, Dazhang and Tantou formations in the Tantou basin are Middle Palaeogene, Late Palaeogene and Early Eocene in age respectively and that the Aoli, Yuli, Xitan and Baishui formations in the Yuanqu basin are Early Eocene, early Late Eocene, middle Late Eocene and late Late Eocene in respectively.On the basis of the differences in Palaeogene biostratigraphic sequences, characteristics of the mammalian assemblages and directions of faults controlling Palaoegene begins in China, six Palaeogene palaeobiogeographic provinces of China have been distinguished; namely: Ⅰ. the Tianshan-Yinshan-Tumen Palaeoiogeographic province, Ⅱ. the Tarim-North China palaeobiogeographic province, Ⅲ. the Kunlun-Qinling palaeobiogeographic province, Ⅳ. the Yangtze palaeobiogeographic province; Ⅴ. the Nanling and Southeastern Littoral palaeobiogeographic province, and Ⅵ. the Qinghai-Tibet palaeobiogeographic province.
