摘要
本文简要评介了湖北省第四纪磁性地层、年代地层研究、古气候环境再造、沉积环境以及地层划分与对比等方面的最新进展,分析了研究中存在的主要问题,并对今后的工作提出了自己的看法。文内所述的第四纪时间容量为2.48Ma。
This paper deals briefly with the latest development and results of Hubei Quaternary research, including magnetic, climatic and time strata, sedimentary environment, and stratigraphic division and correlation. Problems in these studies are also disccussed. Finally,the author presents some of his suggestions for further work in Hubei Quaternary research.
