在养虫室自然条件下系统观察了棉铃虫的化性。越冬蛹春季羽化的早批种群一年能繁殖 5代 ,少量不完全的 6代 ;迟批种群只繁殖 4代。影响化性波动 (第 4代和第 5代的发生比率 )的主要因素是越冬后成虫的羽化时间和秋季越冬蛹滞育诱导的时间。越冬后成虫羽化的早晚与 4月份的温度密切相关 ;秋季越冬蛹滞育诱导的早晚取决于 9月下旬至 1
The voltinism of cotton bollworm, Helicoverpa armigera was systematically observed under natural insectary conditions. The first adult population, which emerged in late April, produced 5 generations annually; a few of them produced the 6 th generations adults, but their offspring did not survive in winter. The latest adult populations, which emerged in mid-June, produced 4 generations. The main factors, which affected the fluctuation of voltinism (the rate of the 4 th and 5 th generation) were the time of adult emergence after hibernation and the time of diapause induction of pupae in autumn. The time of adult emergence was directly related to the temperature in April. The time of diapause induction depended on the temperture in late September and October.
