摘要
慢性牙周炎已公认为糖尿病的第六大并发症,糖尿病可以加速牙周组织的破坏,而慢性牙周炎也可以反过来影响血糖的控制。儿童及青少年糖尿病对牙周组织的健康同样存在一定影响。本文对儿童及青少年糖尿病与牙周疾病相关性的研究现状进行综述。
Periodontitis is now recognized as the sixth complication of diabetes mellitus. Diabetes could promote the process of the destruction of periodontal tissue, while chronic periodontitis could, in return, contribute to poor metabolic control. A growing body of evidence has accumulated in recent years indicating that diabetes in youth has an impact on the health of periodontal tissue. The aim of this article is to review the association between diabetes mellitus and periodontal diseases in youth.
