个旧卡房铜矿具有火山喷发沉积矿床的一些基本特征。矿体呈层状、似层状多层次产于玄武岩中,并随地层一起褶皱。矿石主要为磁黄铁矿型,具层纹构造。成矿物质大多来自玄武岩。
The Kafang Cu deposit at Gejiu possesses some characteristic features of volcano-sedimentary deposits. Stratiform and stratoid orebodies occur as multilayers in the basalt and are folded in parallel with the host strata. The pyrrhetite-type ores are dominant and show lamel-lated structure. The ore-forming materials are derived mostly from the basalt.
