膨胀石墨增效Mg(OH)_2无卤阻燃PE的燃烧特性 被引量:12

Combustion Characteristics of Mg(OH)_2 Flame Retardant Polyethylene Using Expandable Graphite as Synergist

摘要 研究了阻燃剂Mg(OH)_2和阻燃增效剂膨胀石墨(EG)在聚乙烯(PE)中的添加量及其不同配比对PE氧指数、热释放速率、发烟量等燃烧性能参数的影响。实验结果表明,在Mg(OH)_2无卤阻燃PE中添加适量的EG具有较好的阻燃增效作用。 Magnesium hydroxide as hon - halogen flame retardant and expandable graphite as synergist was used in polyethylene formulations. The effects of their addition and ratio on the limited oxygen index, rate of heat release, average specific extinction area, etc, were studied using an oxygen index device and the Cone Calorimeter. The results showed that the expandable graphite played a role of flame - retardant synergist, and substantially lowered the rate of heat release and smoke emission.
