中国南北地震带的基本特征及其形成机理之探讨 被引量:16

摘要 南北地震带是我国中部规模巨大、近南北向的强震密集带,强震震级极大,频度极高,5—8.5级地震达272次。本带强震活动不存在南北呼应关系或两段跳跃迁移规律,中段和南段在时间域上具有强震活动期的对应关系。本带中段地震活动强度最大,南段次之,北段最弱。最后讨论了本带强震活动的形成机理。 The south-north seismic zone is a large-scale, close to S-N direction and dense and strong earthquake belt with the maximum earthquake magnitude and frequency in the middle part of China.In this belt, there occurred 272 earthquakes with the magnitude 5-8.5. The strong earthquakes in the belt not show S-N echo relationship or jumping migration pattern between two segments of this belt, but the strong earthquakes between the middle and south segment have correspondent relationship of strong earthquake active periods in the time. So far as the earthquake activity intensity of the belt, the middle segment occupies first place; the south segment comes second; the north segment takes last place. Finally, the formation mechanism of strong earthquake activity in the belt is also discussed in this paper.
