摘要
典型的数据中心网络架构是由交换机和路由器组成的树形结构,该结构在可扩展性、带宽利用率、业务响应时延以及成本等方面受到越来越多的挑战。为了适应未来业务的需求,提出了In-Rack数据中心网络架构。该架构针对不同的业务需求进行优化部署,将多个接入交换机直接全互联,组成多维可扩展的数据中心网络。同时通过采用虚拟化技术,以虚拟防火墙的形式为相同接入交换机内部的服务器间互访提供安全保障。In-Rack数据中心网络架构在解决汇聚层流量的压力问题的同时,具有较强的可扩展性,且可以大幅降低部署成本。
The typical data center network architecture is tree-based architecture composed of switches and routers. But this architecture faces the challenge in scalability, bandwidth utilization, service delay and deployment cost etc. In this paper, a scalable In-Rack data center network architecture (Sir-DCN for short) is proposed to fulfill the requirements of future services. This architecture supports the customized deployment for different services requirements. By using a full interconnection in switches, it constructs a multiple dimensional scalable data center network. Meanwhile, by using virtualization technology, it virtualizes security devices that deploy on the aggregation layer as virtual firewalls to provide security guarantee for server Sir-DCN has a very good scalability, it provides the capability of reducing flow pressure of aggregation layer and dramatically decrease the deployment cost.
