基于自适应快拍数的DOA估计

摘要 在DOA估计中,为达到相同的估计精度,不同信噪比所需的快拍数是不一样的,低信噪比所需快拍数较多,高信噪比所需快拍数较少。然而传统DOA估计所采用的快拍数是固定的,造成无法选取适当的快拍数。研究了估计精度一定时,所需最小快拍数随信噪比的变化规律,提出了一种自适应快拍的DOA估计算法,该算法根据信噪比自适应选取合适的快拍数。分别以MUSIC算法、ESPRIT算法为例验证了本算法的有效性,仿真实验结果表明:当信噪比为15 dB时,MUSIC算法运算量降低6.7%,本文ESPRIT算法运算量降低61%;本算法估计精度比较稳定,低信噪比下,仍能保持较高的估计精度。 In traditional DOA algorithm, the number of snapshots is fixed, so when the SNR is low, more snapshots are needed in order to obtain a high estimated precision, in which case the snapshots of traditional algo- rithm will be in shortage. Besides, when the SNR is high, the utilization of snapshots is inefficient, so some of the snapshots will be wasted. The relationship between snapshots and SNR is analyzed when the estimation precision is fixed, and a variation snapshot adaptive DOA algorithm is proposed whose snapshots depends on the value of SNR. The algorithm' s validity is tested based on MUSIC algorithm and ESPRIT algorithm, and the simulation results and the analysis demonstrate that: When SNR is 15 dB, the computation of the proposed algorithm based on MUSIC al- gorithm will be reduced by 6.7 %, and the computation of the proposed algorithm based on ESPRIT algorithm will be reduced by 61%. And the estimation precision of the proposed algorithm is stable, and when SNR is low, the algorithm can guarantees relatively high estimation precision.
