Design and Analysis of the Base Isolation System for an Office Building

摘要 对某办公楼进行了基础隔震设计,采用有限元分析软件Etabs v9.5.0对其建立了基础隔震结构及其相应的非隔震结构的有限元模型,采用非线性时程分析法对此模型进行了两个水平向地震作用的分析。分析结果表明,基础隔震结构能够满足高烈度区罕遇地震作用下的抗震需求,且基础隔震结构的水平地震响应明显低于非隔震结构,表现出良好的减震效果。 The based-isolation configuration for an office building was designed and analyzed in this paper. base-isolation structure was designed and analyzed in this paper. The three-dimensional finite element models of the base-isolated structure and the corresponding non-isolated structure were developed. With the models, comparative analyses were conducted by using the nonlinear time-history method at the inputs of two horizontal ground motions. The performances of the base-isolated building under the basic intensity earthquake and the rare intensity earthquake were discussed. It is shown that base-isolated structure can resist the high-level earthquakes in high seismic fortification intensity region. Responses of the base-isolated structure is obviously less than that of the non-isolated structure, which indicates that the base- isolated structure has good isolation effects.
