摘要
国际理解教育在大学国际化发展与国际化人才培养中的作用越来越重要。斯坦福大学通过建立以多元化课程、系列讲座、社会服务为核心的体系,在校园内外的物理空间与虚拟空间开展国际理解教育。我国国际理解教育可以借鉴斯坦福大学经验,建立以外语课程为核心的国际理解教育课程体系以及特色化系列讲座体系,拓展社会服务渠道,培养高素质教师队伍,实现建设国际化大学与培养国际化公民的目标。
Education for International Understanding plays an essential role in the international development of universities and the nurturing of international talents. Stanford University carries out international education by means of teaching, lecturing and social service on the physical and virtual campus. Uni versities in China should learn from Stanford University and pay attention to the construction of the foreign language-based courses of the Education for International Understanding, the typical lecture series, the channel of social services and the qualified teachers in an aim to build international universities and citizens.
