摘要
针对目前博士生培养中的"书斋模式"所导致的博士生缺乏实践动手能力,理论研究与教学实践严重脱节等问题,笔者在相关部门支持下在校外建立了一个研究生创新实践基地。通过外语教学理论方向的博士生深入教学科研实践基地参与教改实验研究,鼓励博士生将专业学习与社会服务和理论创新结合起来,使博士生在"做中学、学中做",在"服务社会"的实践过程中提高综合实践能力和研究能力。通过迄今为止四年的实践,我们探索出了一套高校与创新实践基地持续有效运作的工作机制,形成了一套基于教学科研实践基地的外语教学理论研究博士生培养模式,产生了一系列理论研究和实践应用的成果,取得了较好的推广应用效果和良好的社会效益。
The existing EFL(English as a foreign language) PhD program,known as the "ivory tower mode",has failed to develop students' practical skills in language teaching and research, disconnecting theoretical researches from social realities.The author has developed an off-campus research center in a junior middle school for PhD students majoring in L2 teaching theories to participate in and help with EFL teaching innovations in the school,encouraging them to combine their academic research with social service and teaching innovations.Through four years of practice,we have developed an effective system helping PhD students to learn and do research by offering suggestions and services for junior middle school teachers and participating in their classroom teaching innovations.The new model has produced a series of accomplishments of both theoretical and practical values.
