摘要
随着分子遗传学技术在致聋基因的克隆、鉴定等方面应用的进展 ,使得为某些家庭进行遗传咨询成为可能。本研究的目的在于积累成年耳聋患者对遗传学检测 (如产前诊断等 )的态度的资料 ,以便临床医生、遗传咨询医生能重视聋人这一特殊社会群体的观念和价值 ,使遗传咨询能合理、有效地为聋人家庭提供服务。结果表明 ,大部分聋人对遗传学持消极的态度。
Recent advances within molecular genetics to identify the genes for deafness mean that it is now possible for genetic counseling services to offer genetic testing for deafness to certain families. The urpose of this study is to document the attitudes of deaf adults toward genetic testing for deafness. Clinicians and counselors should take into consideration the beliefs and values of the deaf community, so that genetic counseling service set up for families with deafness could be effective and appreopriate. The results form study provide evidence of a predominantly negative attitude toward genetics.\;
