摘要
隐藏节点问题是WLAN中一个比较突出的问题,在802.11g协议中一般使用RTS/CTS与CTS To Self两种访问机制来改善隐藏节点问题,但是在特定的环境中,这两种访问机制所得到的效果并不相同。在对这两种访问机制进行深入分析的基础上,使用Pythagor仿真软件对两种访问机制实际运行过程中的时延情况进行仿真对比,结果表明,CTS-To-Self访问机制在抖动延时与媒体访问延时方面明显优于RTS/CTS访问机制。
Hidden node has become a prominent problem in WLAN, and in order to improve this problem RTS/CTS and CTS To Self are two widely used access mechanisms in 802. 11g agreement. But in particular environment, the effects of these two access mechanism are not same. In this study, the delay case of these two access mechanism in their actual operation were simulated and compared using Pythagor simulation software. And results showed that both the jitter delay and media access delay of CTS-TO-Self were significant lower than RTS/CTS.
