The working principle of three coordinate measuring machine and its application in detection of the white body were introduced. Each link detecting the quality of white body by three coordinate measuring machine was analyzed, including the preparation before measuring, the dete,＇mination of measurement range, the tolerance setting, measuring, data statistical chart, error source analysis, the conclusion judgement and problem rectification, etc. Three coordinate measuring technology can improve the manufacturing precision of the white body, so as to improve the fitting precision of vehicle.
