摘要
概要介绍和综合论述有限元方法的几种先进的新型算法。从较高层次上揭示了结构工程中有限元方法的总体发展。
As a very efficient numerical method, the finite element method (FEM) have been universally accepted and widely used by engineers. Nowadays, the FEM plays an important role in the modeling, analysis, design and numerical simulation of the engineering structures and mechanical systems. With the development of some numerical methods and the requirements for the numerical solving of some complex engineering problems, after 1980s, some smart ideas and advanced algorithms in the F'EM had been proposed gradually, such as adaptive FEM, stochastic FEM, parallel 'FEM, intelligent FEM, super FEM, etc. In this paper, these smart ideas and the advanced algorithms in the FEM are briefly reviewed. The overall developments of the FEM are discussed.
